What a day...

What a beautiful day! I took the cat out on a leash... I am just thinking it is so pretty outside I couldln't stand her missing out when we were all out there! haha! Chuch was awesome.. 5 people baptised today...tooo cool!
It has been so neat to have people sharing how God has been using them...our Sunday school lessons have really been challenging us to share and be a witness...to get out of our comfort zone and share our faith...and time after time the stories keep coming from people that wouldn't normally want to lead out...or to share... how God has called them to step out and lead in prayer or bible study...and they are doing it... God is so good!!!
It has been good to see old friends come back to Fairview... I can't wait to see what God is going to do next!!
Andy has started a new job... he seems to really like the opportunities it gives him to work with things he loves like lights and sound systems...
Ashley is finishing up her first year in Denton... what a crazy year it has been!
I guess I am already counting down the days for summer to get here... haha... summer will be busy.. but I love getting outside and in the pool....

Things are good!

Hey! Things are good here! The start of the new year has been busy as always! Chuch has been awesome... the worship and the outreach is better than I have seen just about anywhere.. thank you God for watching over us and bring such healing and desires to reach out as a church family!
Andy is finishing up his senior year and Ashley is starting another semester of college....
My job has been busy too... lots of new applications have kept all of us working hard... next year will prove to be crazy.... two new schools opening... I will have to move out with Perrin...don't know yet where I will end up...
It has been good to see old friends and restore relationships that had been stressed and pulled.... we have learned so much from the mistakes that were made.. and now so many are looking again for a place to worship and a place to build relationships...I pray for those that are still hurting!
I will be making my annual trip to TCEA and making presentations again this year so I have been working on that!

Count Down....

So it is now the count down to the new year... 2008....
Those first few days of trying to remember to write the correct date... that is always tough!!
Well... I didn' make it all the way through the one year bible last year... so I am going to start up again..hopefully some of you will be reading along with me!!!
Christmas was awesome! It was good to have Ashley home to enjoy it with us! The weekend started with good friends at the house enjoying food and fun! Then Saturday our family enjoyed some time of presents together... then Sunday we ate out and went to see a movie to celebrate Andy's bday...then Monday at my brother's house... it is always fun to get together with everyone!! and laugh and play... and eat!!! It was especially fun to watch my bro and everyone playing the Wii!!!! Then services at church... they were good.. but it was really special for me to have family there with us!!!

Well...what a crazy year it has been!
Ashley moved out of the house this summer and is living in Denton....Andy is a senior and just turned 18..... Church has been amazing....
I am looking forward to 2008.... so many opportunities in ministry...
I hope you had a GREAT year and Christmas too!!!
